Are you having relationship issues with your partner?
Couples therapy can help maintain and establish healthier and more fulfilling relationships. It is useful for improving communication and conflict resolution skills, finding ways to reconnect and overcome past hurts in the relationship.
Children can experience behavioral and psychological symptoms, such as anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), irritability, school refusal, academic problems, difficulty making friends, school anxiety, social anxiety and trauma. Our clinicians can assist you and your child to reduce your struggles.
Family therapy can assist family members in improving communication, identifying dysfunctional behaviors and patterns, learning healthy conflict resolution skills, and developing more adaptive ways of relating to each other.
Virtual Reality Therapy is based on treating different types of phobias and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) by gradual exposure. Virtual Reality Therapy can help people to manage and overcome their fears of public speaking, fears of driving, claustrophobia, agoraphobia, school anxiety, social anxiety, fears of heights, fears of elevators, fears of underground parking garages, fears of trains, fears of bridges and tunnels, fears of needles and medical procedures, etc. We use state of the art virtual reality situations to create real life scenarios and prepare our clients to confront the situations in real life.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is a treatment approach that has been widely validated by research for the treatment of trauma and PTSD. EMDR therapy allows to target the negative memories and emotions of past traumatic events and it helps the brain to successfully process past experiences.
We incorporate Eye Movement to help children and adults with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder to improve focus and concentration. Our therapy approach is centered on achieving longer attention span, increasing awareness of self and the world, and reducing fidgety without medications.
Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises (TRE) is a somatic body based practice for people suffering with stress, anxiety, trauma or PTSD. TRE is based on a series of exercises which assist the body in releasing deep muscular patterns of stress, tension and trauma. The exercises activate a natural tremor mechanism that calms down the nervous system.
Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) is an evidence–based novel therapy that promotes quick recovery by reprogramming how the brain stores traumatic memories and imagery. This treatment approach incorporates memory visualization techniques that are based on eye movements, as well as memory reconciliation.
The Flash Technique (FT) is a therapeutic intervention used for reducing the disturbance associated with traumatic or distressing memories. FT is a minimally intrusive option that does not require the client to consciously engage with nor share with their therapist the traumatic memory. This allows the client to process traumatic memories without feeling distress.
Ericksonian Hypnosis is a widely recognized approach for utilizing unlimited possibilities of the unconscious mind. Hypnotherapy is being done by activating and discovering new inner resources and involves inward attention and positive suggestions in a trance-like state.
Hypnotherapy can be effective in alleviating conditions such as chronic pain, headaches, anxiety, depression, fears and phobias, self-esteem issues and habit disorders like over eating or smoking.
